Dr. Julie Zimmermann
Having a career as a veterinarian is as fulfilling as I always hoped it would be. I
can’t imagine myself in any other profession. I truly enjoy coming to work
everyday and interacting with the animals, as well as the people.
Pets have always had a place in my home. Currently I have two dogs and two
cats. Tyson, a 1-year old German shepherd, was a shelter dog that spent a
month at our clinic with parvovirus. He finally recovered and I couldn't resist
seeing him go. My other addition, Josie, is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever that I
rescued from the shelter in the winter of 2005. My kitties, Izzy & Opal are both
seven years old and detest each other, but such is the life of a cat.
